What to Expect During Dental Cleaning and Exam
Our pediatric dentist will begin by making your child feel comfortable and explaining the dental cleaning procedure in kid-friendly terms. Using a special tooth scraper, the dentist will then gently remove plaque from your child’s teeth, which will help eliminate bacteria and keep the teeth and surrounding gums healthy. Next, the dentist will thoroughly brush and floss your child’s teeth, then visually inspect them.
