Meet Marina Gonchar, DMD
Dr. Marina Gonchar is a Board-Certified Orthodontist in New Jersey who loves helping kids, teens, and adults achieve confident, healthy smiles. She believes every patient deserves personalized care and the latest orthodontic treatments to make the journey to a great smile fun and exciting.
Dr. Gonchar has always been fascinated by science and how smiles can transform lives. She earned her degree in neuroscience from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania before becoming a dentist at Boston University. Wanting to learn even more, she earned a master’s degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at West Virginia University. She also completed a special training program at NYU’s Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, where she helped patients with unique jaw and facial conditions.
Dr. Gonchar uses the latest orthodontic technology, including Invisalign First, Invisalign Teen, and Carriere Motion Appliance, to make treatment easier and more comfortable. She also helps with pre-surgical orthodontic planning and offers solutions for TMD-related discomfort.
When she’s not straightening smiles, Dr. Gonchar enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with her playful white English Lab, Max. She had braces as a teen and knows how life-changing a great smile can be, which is why she’s excited to help every child feel confident about their teeth.
